Site Clean-Up & File Organization

Site clean-up is a site-wide process and entails moving elements on a page into more precise locations on the page and into more specific and cleaner alignment with one another (if and as needed); finding and fixing any broken links; reorganizing page's content (if and as needed) in essential order. For example, any ads found at the top would be moved to the bottom and the page's top content would be moved to the top - the page's "prime real estate", where the viewers will see it first, instead of an outside source's ad.
All changes made on a site-wide clean sweep are made on every single page to get the site consistent, with all elements placed in the exact same spot on every page. These are some examples of site clean-up as it depends on the condtion of each site encountered.
File organization consists of rearranging the files of your site into an organized system, which in turn requires going through all pages and fixing all links affected by the moved pages.
Important: While it's quite beneficial to have your site files nice and organized, this is a decision that should be made with some forethought, as changing your files around also changes the file path of the pages that are moved. If your site already receives high traffic and search engine ranking and the search engines are indexing pages other than your home page, then I would suggest you not go with a file organization. If, however, your site traffic is not picking up for you or if it's still new, then by all means, get organized!
Combo Package: When combining these two services, I start with the file organization, then while in the pages cleaning them up I am also fixing the links changed due to the file organization.
